FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard pricing system. In studio makeup starts at 100. Onsite makeup starts at 160 (for the contracted client) and 80 for additional people. Minimums may apply. These rates are affective through NOV 2019. Local travel is complimentary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet for a consult, usually at a local coffee place to meet and understand each other. I also do phone consultations. I want to know all about your vision and what you want to achieve. If you wish to move forward we schedule a trial or you can book me to reserve your spot. To book a retainer is due to reserve your date. The retainer is 50% of the total cost of services. THE MAIN EVENT! As stated in our contract I arrive on time to set up my supplies and have you looking beautiful for your special event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an estheticians license from Mitchell's Academy in Raleigh, NC. I have taken makeup work shops as far as NYC to grow and better understand my craft. I have a bachelor's degree in Art and an Associates in Graphic Design. During my time at University, was when I first fell in love with doing makeup on others. I started out doing theatrical makeup (2008) and eventually moved on to special events and worked my way up to weddings.
