Introduction: I am a very friendly and a personable tutor. I have work with all kinds of students. From preschooler, high school student, to adults.
I tutored the high school student for her Chinese AP class and her grades had significantly improved through out my tutoring period and successfully passed the AP Chinese test.
During my time at the Bilingual Montessori Preschool; I Managed and assembled 4 bilingual classes that were taught in both English and Chinese and learned the importance of patience, observance, and communication through interactions with preschool students and parents
With adult lessons, we have conversations about all kinds of topics from business to culture to practice grammar and pronunciations.
Taiwanese born and raised till 16
Traveled to 20+ countries, I have a lot of stories to share if you would like casual Chinese conversation lessons.

I enjoy teaching Chinese because I can utilize my Chinese skills and share my native culture with others.

Kelly is an amazing Chinese teacher. She has been teaching me for several years now and has helped me enormously. Kelly is always patient and understanding when I struggle to remember a word or phrase. I like the way that she will teach you the basics so you feel you are making progress and then return to your pronunciation or phrasing over time to gradually improve the way you say things. Kelly also helps you remember words by making connections with ones you already learned. She builds up a self-reinforcing web of concepts and meanings that make it much easier to learn than if you were just trying to study on your own. She is also very flexible if you just want to learn to speak as many previous teachers I tried insisted that I also learn the writing which is not useful to me and wastes a lot of time and energy. On my last trip to China I really noticed how much I have improved and I would definitely give Kelly most of the credit for that.
