Joana is an expert in the Portuguese language, specifically teaching Portuguese to non-native speakers efficiently and effectively. From the basic language mechanics, reading, comprehension, and conversational use, Joana is by far the best language teacher I’ve ever had, and I’ve been learning Spanish in classroom settings for over 15 years. In three months I was able to comprehend and conversationally speak Portuguese just in time for my visit to Angola. Her patience and technique is incredible! 100% recommended!

Joana is an incredible teacher who’s years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese language enable her to uniquely tailor each lesson plan to her student’s progress and preferred learning style. As a Portuguese teacher, she also ensures that her students are well versed in oral/auditory and written communication. My Portuguese improved immensely in the time that she’s been my teacher!
