Michael Schenck is an exceptional recording engineer. Michael is my first choice for doing live, site-specific, or studio recordings.
As an environmental composer in the classical and jazz worlds, I often require recordings to be done outside, in places that are not easy to get to with sub prime conditions. Whether it's a string quartet in a forested nature preserve or a jazz ensemble in a dingy basement club, Michael always finds creative ways to get the BEST recording possible.
But most of all, Michael is amazing to work with. He is easy going, friendly, and flexible. There is always only one goal in mind - a quality musical recording. I highly recommend Michael Schenck for any recording project.
