Introduction: I'm so glad you're interested in Brazilian Samba. It is my passion! I've studied Samba here in the US and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with some of the best and most well-known instructors in the world. And I've performed across the Southeast with various dance troupes. And most notably, I've performed in the famous Carnaval of Rio de Janeiro. If you're ready to learn, I'm able to customize lessons for your level and even choreograph the perfect piece for your samba debut! Samba can help build confidence and it can be a great workout. Let me know your interests! The music of samba is one of love, heartache, joy, and cultural pride. All of that can be expressed through movement. Samba is one of my favorite styles of music and teaching others how to move to it is a joy. I love to see the rhythm click in people's minds. Their eyes light up when they realize they are doing it! I had a wonderful time in Dani’s class. I have dance experience but not samba and she was a very detailed instructor. My 9 year old niece also joined me and did those samba moves for weeks! I would attend another class and would definitely recommend.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions about the students' history with and knowledge of samba. I then assess their background in dance in general. And of course, I find out what the students want to get out of samba before I determine exactly what and how I should proceed with the lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've trained all over the US and at the top Samba Schools in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began performing in 2012 and have continued to grow as an artist since then.
