FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates depend on needs, distance and number of meals prepared.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For in-home meal prep and classes, I like to start with an initial consultation and a preview of your kitchen (this can be done virtually). We'll coordinate a menu (I've got a ton of dishes for you to choose from), and then I'll put together a grocery list. I'll send you that list to check off anything you already have in the pantry. On the day of service, I'll confirm those items and then grocery shop for anything additional we will need. I ask that the kitchen is cleaned on the day of service with no dishes in the skin and countertops clear. Cooking will take several hours, and I ask that children and pets are kept out of the cooking area for safety reasons. If you'd like to join me in the kitchen or participate, that is always welcomed. I love to teach. For meal prep clients, after meals have been prepared, I will box items either by meal or by serving into your containers and leave the kitchen clean.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We'll start with a free consultation. If convenient, we'll meet in person, Skype or FaceTime. Here's we'll have an opportunity to discuss any goals, dietary restrictions, preferences, etc.
