Marshall has given our daughter music lessons for two years. He is a talented player and has a deep understanding of music. He is also an effective teacher and a friendly person. He has instilled an important creative discipline in our daughter’s life. He is able to break down the fundamentals of music in a way that she can apply knowledge to her playing. He has an intuitive knack for understanding how to guide her to learn. I’ve taken Piano and music theory lessons with Mac and Aaron for almost a year now and I continue to be impressed every week with the value and knowledge I receive as a result. Each lesson gets me closer to my goal of playing out at jazz jam sessions and more comfortable with the language of music. I had two teachers as a kid and young adult, but since I’ve picked Music back up with Intown Musicians, I’m really impressed with the practical, patient and measured approach these guys have! I’d recommend them to anyone.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a collection of the most knowledgeable and experienced music teachers in the city and our pricing reflects that. We charge $60 an hour and add a $5 travel fee if you are located intown and would prefer in-home lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are listeners, first: we listen to your needs and we try to make things as easy as possible for new customers. Our goal is to create a fun and enriching atmosphere for all of our students.
