- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour for private lessons. And I do offer a discount for students who purchase a passcard. My fees for group workshops are based the size of the group and other factors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ease into things and work systematically to lay a strong foundation. Of course I do also adjust what I'm doing to meet the needs and interests of each individual student. My approach is organized but not rigid.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have made an in depth study of the material I teach. And I have refined my teaching methods through decades of practice with students of very diverse backgrounds. I also have degrees in linguistics and anthropology. Study in these areas reflect my broad interest in semiotics and the music and culture of other peoples.
