Maria is one of the best makeup artists I've ever worked with and I've been acting and modeling for 16 years. She is top notch, having trained in Russia. Her creativity and attention to detail is endless and very on poiny and is evident in everything that she creates, including her clothing and accessories. My 16 yo daughter and I visited Austin for some mom & daughter time. We decided to play with make-up as Katie wanted to experiment with her options for her upcoming prom. We both had our make-up done and the time made for a fabulous start to our evening of girl time! Maria was professional, a sweetheart, and she totally listened to what we were looking for!!! (For Katie, turns out Maria's make-up is what she preferred! The person who did her makeup for prom unfortunately didn't give her what she was looking for and we had to have her makeup fixed by a friend. Had Maria been local to us, we would have been back to her for Katie's prom!) After getting our makeup done with Maria, we went out for dinner and a movie! It was a fun and affordable evening :) We will be back to see Maria when we return to Austin for another girl's weekend!!!!

Maria is a great make-up artist. She did both evening (more dramatic) and afternoon (more low-key) make up applications for me, and I loved both results! She was on time, listened carefully to my requests and used great products. I would recommend her to anyone!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much information as possible about my client and an event coming. It helps me to be 100% prepared and do my job fast and perfect. I usually come to my customer's place and I have everything I need with me. I expect to get a table for my products and a chair for you - and we are ready to start!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the best Makeup School in my city back in Russia in 2013, and have visited a lot of workshops by the best makeup artists to get inspiration and new knowledges. My rule is never stop learning!
