Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: A handyman is proficient in several trades which allows me to provide a solid service for my customers. It also allows me to pass on savings to my customers vs customers hiring different contractors in different trades which can become very pricey, why not just hire a handyman. I’m able to continue growing my business with every satisfied customer. My ability to assist with updating, repairs, and maintenance in both commercial and residential does the job.

Be careful if hiring this company. I submitted a detailed request on-line, got a quote in writing from Mark, clarified the quote (in writing), and scheduled the job. They were substantially lower than any other of the 5 quotes I received. Mark called on Sunday to let me know of the start time on Monday. I asked that he call me about 20-30 minutes out because I do not live at the property they were working on and would need to come meet them. The team was at the house as scheduled and called me 30 minutes prior to arrival so that I was also there when they arrived. I paid them half of the total cost to get started. I made sure Mark had my cell phone number, told him again that the property was a rental but I did not live very far away and would be working from home so if he needed anything, to please call me. I said that the neighbor was sharing the cost of the work (as neighbors often do when the fence line is shared property), and that the neighbors would pay him the second half of the money when he was done. However, I knew I was ultimately responsible so to please call me about 30 minutes prior to finishing so that I could come out and see the work and make sure that if the neighbors did not pay him, that I was there to give him the money for the balance. d two of the original fence posts but, for what I was paying, I was not worried. When I checked on the job at 2PM, they had 19LF done of a 61LF job. They had re-used two of the original fence posts but, for what I was paying, I was not worried. My other concern was the large posts sticking up. Fence posts need to be buried 2 feet in the ground and these posts were sticking up well above the 6 foot mark (see photo). Mark assured me that they were buried 2 feet and that they were 10 foot posts, not 8. He also reassured me that the 2 re-used posts were re-cemented and would be fine. (see photo of what "fine" means.) I gave Mark an additional check to cover the second haul fee and to cover the portion of the fence line that I was not splitting with the neighbor. I had now paid them $666 of the $970 total cost. I reiterated my conversation about finishing the job that we had that morning and gave Mark my neighbors' cell phone numbers. He never mentioned he was uncomfortable calling them or that it was not in their policy to let neighbors split costs of common property projects. Mark told me it wasn't a problem and I left. At 4:59PM, a lady from Texas Pro's office called me and started the conversation with "my guys tell me you aren't going to pay for the fence we put in today". Ummm....what?! She went on without pause accusing me of breaking our contract, lying, being a deadbeat payer, etc. It was the most abusive, rude and unprofessional behavior I have ever seen. I tried to break into her tirade several times explaining that the crew knew I didn't live there, knew my cell number, were supposed to call when they were almost done so that I could come back, etc., but she was not putting up with any of it. When I finally asked her how I was supposed to know that they were done if they didn't call me and I wasn't there, she relented and began bullying me as to when I was going to pay them because she had workers to pay. She was so mean and aggressive that I gave in an paid the remaining $304 of the total $970 job over the phone without ever seeing the finished product. For all I knew, there wasn't even a fence up past the 19 feet I saw 3 hours previously and now they had all my money.

Dear Casey, Because our company goes to great lengths to provide the highest level of service, we take your comment very seriously. Especially that our services left you unhappy. The more troubling aspect is that your review states you received a great rate for our services and a beautiful fence, after viewing the pictures myself that were turned in by my technician. In regards to communication both parties should always be respectful to one another throughout the entire process from start to finish. I apologize if you feel that anyone was rude. I can't control how you may have felt however, I will continue to train my team on how to handle difficult situations. It is key, for any project to run smoothly. I can agree that everyone can improve on this, my company included. However, I also reviewed your contract and unfortunately I could not find any details regarding split cost between you and your neighbor(s). I believe this might be where the confusion began. I spoke to my team and no one could clarify any discussion that took place with you (on or offline) until the day of the fence itself was being built on site, which you then informed of a split cost. At this point you stopped by your property and handed a phone number to my technician to contact your neighbor(s). He was confused by this and contacted us for confirmation. It is imperative that all stated terms and conditions on contracts be followed through accordingly, as agreed. I've learned this can save everyone a lot of headaches. In regards to any additional infractions that you have mentioned here such as payment, you were charged as follows $910 total which included only (1) truck load. On the contract under disposal fees states $60 per truck load in which totaled $970, because there were (2) truck loads and you payed that amount. Texas Pro does not practice charging for services that were not completed or having a problem collecting payment. We are a growing company in the Austin area and only have room for improvements. Again, I thank you for bringing all your concerns to my attention. If there is anything else you would like to clarify please contact us directly txprocs@gmail.com, Thank you for your business.
