Introduction: Free range music lessons tailored to your interests, goals and personality. 12 years and over 10,000 hours of teaching experience from children age 5 to adults. I teach guitar, bass, drum set ukulele, and songwriting. Recently I've expanded to recording as well and can help you write, revise and produce great sounding recordings of your music. Lessons are offered in my private studio in North Central Austin. My biggest thrill comes from seeing my students inspired and growing. My teaching approach is a constant balancing act between offering technical challenges that improve musicianship, and musical application which helps to keep students inspired and connected to their love of music.

Ross approaches each kiddo individually. Gives them opportunity to MAKE MUSIC, not just learn to play an instrument. That is what is different and special about his business. And I speak cause we've been to a few other studios and have smth to compare to. From the very beginning my son was playing, singing and making small performances (age 3). Now he is 7 and will be playing as a drummer in the actual band! That is how far we've made it with Ross and kept the love to music along the way.

I can not say enough positive things about Ross of We Love Music. My son has worked with him over the last two years and has been patient, adaptable and most of all made lessons fun. He's a great listener and offers kids the opportunity to experiment and try out things that suit their interests while working in some solid music skills. We love Music and We Love Ross

Our first grade daughter worked with Ross last year. She had such a positive experience! He is a gifted musician, he is a fabulous teacher, and he is great with kids. She loved going every week and learned so much. He was encouraging and really seemed to understand how to expand her knowledge. I also really trusted him and felt like she was in good hands when she was with him. I honestly can't say enough positive things about our experience!

Ross is a great teacher and musician. My daughter has learned so much and now she is ready to perform with her first girl's band! He has unique teaching skills and is capable to see a child's music ability and transform it into an amazing and creative class with a lot of fun. He hosts a student music performance twice a year which has been the highlight of his and his student's work. I highly recommend Ross.

I usually start with an email or phone call to make sure that I know what kind of music lesson experience the prospective student is looking for. If it feels like a good fit, we schedule our first lesson.

Music Minor - Elon University, NC. 8 years experience as music dept. director at Sri Atmananda Memorial School, Austin Tx. 2003 to 2011. 6 years experience teaching private lessons from my home studio in Austin 2011 to present.
