I love watching a dog grow, learn and become a smart, fun and obedient companion. The balance and the freedom that it brings dogs and their owners is truly gratifying! The other part of my work that I love is boarding. Taking care of puppies or hanging out in the sun with the seniors with all the fun dogs in between makes my day! If it’s fun for them, it’s fun for me!

Jen is the whole package. Not only did she train our Jett in a short amount of time but she also taught us what to do. Our lives are less frustrating now that Jett knows what is expected and our walks are peaceful and give us quality time together. Daycare at Jen’s is a real treat for Jett and taught her how to socialize with other dogs. Thanks Jen !

Jennifer is a life saver! I do train and board with her, and she has brought out the absolute best in my German Shepherd pup Blue. After going through her training Blue can come anywhere with me. She comes when called, is great on leash, and no longer jumps on people. I feel totally confident and relaxed with her on walks, at the dog park, or hanging at a patio restaurant. And she gets loads of attention for being so well-behaved! Jennifer is both professional and loving. While boarding she sends regular updates and photos of the pups. The dogs get tons of exercise and play time. Blue is always excited to board there. I can't recommend Jennifer enough!

Jennifer at Lucky Star is an excellent dog trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and she truly cares about the well being of your dog. We started taking our border collie to her at a young age and we constantly get compliments on how well behaved our (very hyper) dog is. Whether you’re looking for general obedience training, boarding, or doggy daycare, Jennifer at Lucky Star is the among the best there is.
