FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is usually a flat rate for the first version of the edit. Pricing depends on complexity of the edit and timetable. Additional client changes are billed by the hour at $30/hr. Estimate will be provided in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the customer and learning more about their business. I like to have a lot of context when I work with clients to better understand their needs and create an even better video that conveys the message clearly. Expect plenty of questions :) After that, I'l familiarize my self with past examples and get to work on the video.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training has been on the job, which is the best kind in the film industry. Over the past 10+ years, I've worked as a VFX compositor, editor, and cinematographer on an array of commercials, marketing videos, and feature films with budgets ranging from thousands of dollars to millions of dollars. Each role I played was focused and edured for years so as not to be dilluted by other responsibilities, resulting in qualitative experience.
