FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions are currently $60, plus a mileage charge (50 cents per mile) if I travel to you. In extenuating circumstances, we can talk about a sliding scale. I make an effort to keep prices affordable so I stay accessible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Try a few sessions to get a feel for whether this is right for you. You may know it is or isn't after just one, but most people get the maximum benefit from a commitment of several sessions or ongoing sessions. For new clients, we'll get acquainted during the first session (75 minutes instead of 60) and others thereafter will be more focused on the "meat" of the work itself. We'll check in each session on your goals, current wellbeing, and intentions. I'll only ask you to do paperwork once, before the first session. Often, clients introduce new practices or habits into their lives between sessions, so we'll check in on how those are working as well. Within a session - expect a combination of yoga and empathic, relational dialogue - which means dialogue based mostly on questions and deep listening and presence. Sessions may be hands on or hands off, whatever is preferable for the client. And no - I won't "tell you what to do" - it's not that kind of work! This is about your healing process, and I'm here to facilitate you.
