I was able to work with Brandon as a personal trainer as well as in a group setting in a kettlebell camp he instructed. Sometimes bodyweight movements look deceptively simple but to properly perform even the most basic movements require knowledge about and experience with form, body mechanics and technique. I can tell you that Brandon seems to master all of those. In addition to just the mechanics and even physics of exercise Brandon was able to comprehensively evaluate my needs and wants and was able to come up with a structured plan. Not only do I feel like Brandon leads by example but I believe he has the science and research behind his methods to train anyone in need. He does not take the easy short way to losing weight or getting “fit”. He teaches you methods that can guide you to lifelong health and fitness.

Before being exposed to Brandon's Kaizen Fitness principals, I thought dozens of machines and a variety of cardio equipment was needed to get fit. For years, I used overly complicated programming aimed only at aesthetics. This type of training left me bored and brittle. Kaizen Kettlebells shifted my thinking toward a new approach - minimize the required equipment, simplify the programming, and train movements rather than muscles. In doing so, I saw continual progress. In the first 12 months of this process, Brandon guided me to levels of mobility and strength I didn't know I had. I'm thankful for the role he has played in my fitness journey. Though my goals are now based on movements rather than muscles, the 12 lbs of lean body mass I put on was a welcome surprise.
