Heirloom studio is not just an excellent dance studio, it is a community of like-minded individuals brought together by teachers who value continuous improvement, respect, and the joy of dance. Joel and Stephanie take a personal interest in their students' improvement and always go above and beyond to make sure that their series group classes are relevant to different abilities within the leveled groups. Always, but especially in private classes, they are excellent at hearing what their students need and at working with them to get to the next level of ability regardless of where they started.
That being said, the social dances hosted by Heirloom are fun, safe spaces where dancers of every ability and age is welcomed and valued. If you are worried about not fitting in for any reason of age or being unaccustomed to dance, don't fret! You will be welcomed into this environment and fit right in. I had never experienced such a friendly scene until I moved to Boise. It is truly a Gem!

I never really thought I could learn dance, but I was able to. Joel and Steph are incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work. They make learning entertaining. I've been able to a lot of new and wonderful people through dancing and it's thanks to their help.

Heirloom Dance Studio is a fantastic place to learn to dance and to meet new people. The dance scene that it has created and fostered was a huge part of why I ended up in Boise. I am grateful and proud to have been able to call it my dance home for nearly four years. It has immensely improved my life and made me a much better dancer to boot. Joel Hunter and Stephanie Hinton excel at creating a friendly and inclusive environment for learning dance, and they are some of the best instructors I have had the privilege of learning from both in Boise or anywhere. I hope to see you out on the dance floor soon.
