Billy has been monumental in helping me reach my goals. I initially planned on only signing up for only a handful of sessions assuming that would provide me with the foundation necessary to build off myself, but was floored by the knowledge and overall experience Billy showed during my consultation. I’ve since had 12 sessions with Billy and just signed up for another 12. Just in the three months of meeting with Billy once a week I’ve put on noticeable muscle definition, began a consistent healthy diet, and most importantly corrected my form on injury-prone exercises. I started training with Billy in Jan 2017. I interviewed other trainers at the time but never found a good fit. Upon meeting Billy for the first time, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and experience about nutrition, strength training, anatomy, and overall fitness. He is an excellent listener and employs routines and strategies that support his client's goals / needs. Little did I know that I would reach my goal weight (additional 30 lb loss), succeed in strength training taking me to new personal records that I never dreamed of (deadlifts, etc...), firm up body and run my very first 5K within 6-7 months of starting to work with Billy. I have had a few injuries (shoulder, back) from extracurricular sports that have required physical therapy. Billy understands PT's approach, is happy to communicate & build plans with them, and then modifies our routine to support PT objectives while continuing to stay on a path supporting strength training and overall fitness. I plan to continue working with New School Fitness / Billy on a regular basis (training for "Tough Mudder" or possibly "Spartan" - can't believe it - so amazing). I started with Billy about a month ago and haven't looked back. He is very knowledgeable, and a great resource for both exercise and diet. He plays close attention to form and makes the sessions challenging but also fun. Billy himself is a great guy as well with a good sense of humor which is helpful when trying to get back into shape. Billy is a great personal trainer, very efficient and patient. I’ve only been working with him for a few weeks now but he has motivated me and helped me in so many ways. Not only does he he work with you while your with him but he also gives you great advice and workout/eating tips for the days I’m not working out with him.
