- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $25 for a 30 minute lesson of very individualized instruction. If the age and level is appropriate, I do schedule 45 minute lessons for a reduced rate of $35. However, if there is more than a 5 mile drive to the client's house, I charge an additional $5 for gas up to 15 miles away. And $8 for gas up to 30 miles away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first session is about learning the purpose for the learner in taking lessons. I have no personal agenda to meet. I am here to make sure my students learn exactly what they need to reach their goals for Language, Music, or whatever subject I am teaching them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 4 different certifications in 3 Different states. I also have 3 degrees, but what I feel makes me a great instructor is the 19 YEARS of professional educational experience that I have in the public schools as well as 23 YEARS of private teaching experience.
