Company claimed to use “satellite imagery” to pin point my lawn. Stated my lawn is 4,833 sq ft. I’ve never had a company do this. Quoted me $37 after initial quote was $25. Proceeded to argue my point.

I had an awful experience with this company. I inquired about lawn care thru Thumbtack, and when I gave them more info (lawn size, contact info) they called my phone literally 5 times a day, usually several times in a row until I picked up to push their services. Finally I said they could cut my lawn only if they were available on the specific days and they said if I signed up right then they would have someone scheduled for that particular day so I did. The next morning I get an email confirmation for a day I specifically said I COULDNT do, and when I wrote them saying that and to refund my money, all of a sudden my main contact guy wasn't available and they sent me a generic message to call their 1-800 number. I called it and sat on hold for 15 minutes with no answer, just a recorded message that someone would be with me soon. I still haven't received my money back. Reported them to the BBB and hopefully Thumbtack will intervene and refund me.
