Introduction: I have been a filmmaker for the last 10 years. I have shot, directed and edited all kinds of projects: fiction films, documentaries, animation and events. My movies have been in more than 150 film festivals and a documentary I edited had more than 2 million views. I worked for small companies and big ones as MTV. But if you hire me I will do the job with the passion and love as if it was the first time. What I love about shooting events is that you get to film the most important moment of someone's life. What I love about editing them is you bring that footage to life.

I first called and spoke with Javier, he was great to talk with and very helpful. Javier explained to me all of my options and he was very reassuring that they would capture everything we needed them to on our wedding day! And they did just that! Javier and Mike shot our wedding day, they arrived on time and captured every little detail. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with them. They were kind, professional, and just hung behind the scenes capturing it all. Our wedding day was the most perfect day; it was a sunny, beautiful, August day which turned into the perfect sunset on the beach, and a full moon setting on the water by night. All of those moments appear in our video. When we received our video 2 months after our wedding we couldn't have been happier. We would hire them again in a second!!!

We were super nervous about our video. We really wanted something beautiful but couldnt afford one of those crazy high end places that charge like 10,000. A friend of a friend who went to film school recommended one of her colleagues named Javier. We looked at his stuff and hired him. We couldnt be happier! We love our video and our families love it too. Javier was super nice and great to have around in such a big event like our wedding was.

We loved our wedding video shot by Javier! Our decision to get a videographer was very last second (only a month before the wedding) so our budget was limited and many videographers were already booked. We were excited to find Javier was still available for our wedding date and had a package that was exactly what we wanted for a really affordable price! Depends on the amount of work and technical equipment that it requires.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's very important that I know the client's wishes and expectations. Then I would talk about what I have to offer and how it would be achieved. During the whole process, the conversation should be open and fluent so there are not surprises. And it is very important to have a clear schedule and set up a delivery date.

Columbia University Graduate 2015. Film MFA. Fulbright Scholarship. Hollywood Foreign Press Association Scholarship.
