Antoine literally biked it all the way from Bushwick to Harlem to teach me a private course! He listened to me and to my needs and started giving me tutorials on how to start playing guitar for the first time. I'm not kidding when I say that I can now understand how to read chords (with just one lesson) and can play some (very simple) songs just by looking for them online. Looking forward to more classes with him!Aug 17, 2017Verified
I have a very busy schedule and barely any time to practice, but I've already started seeing improvements in my guitar performance and I've only taken two lessons with him. I'm thinking about the instrument differently and more creatively, and I'm loving every second of it.Oct 17, 2017
I have taken a couple of lessons with Antoine now. It's been great learning from him. He is very passionate about music and teaches very well. He understood my expectations and started from there. It's been fun learning to play the guitar with him. I would definitely recommend him as your guitar instructor! I am looking forward to learn from him :)Oct 1, 2017Verified
Antoine is very great to work with. He has a very deep knowledge of the instrument and does a great job of understanding my needs as a student. I have played guitar for a while with no formal training until now, and I have already started to think about the guitar differently. Additionally, Antoine has been very accommodating with my schedule.Aug 22, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer a 40% discount for the 1st trial lesson:$35. From there when a student is sure they want to continue I ask that lessons be paid for 4 at a time. The cost is $200 ($50/hour each lesson).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When meeting a new student I like to get to know them personally and establish goals early on. As we work together, I guide each student towards the best version of themselves with repertoire, ear training, music theory, technique, and composition assignments appropriate for their age, ability level, and stylistic preferences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Over 25 years of music education. I started with the violin and the french horn when I was a 5 and 7 years old. My mother is a piano/theory teacher. I graduate last May from the Queens College of New York, Master in jazz guitar performance.
