FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing and fees may vary depending on the specific type of instruction one is seeking. I offer special discounts for first-time students, friend referrals, and private group sessions. Connect with me to chat about rates!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to personalize my approach to meeting the students' goals and needs, I believe clear communication is a key component. It's important for my client to know me well, and vis versa. These are my typical steps when working with a new yogi client: -Connect via Thumbtack - Set up a time in-person (I love grabbing coffee!) or phone to discuss your prior experience with fitness, yoga, and other forms of exercise. This is also a good time for the student to mention any past injuries, health conditions, or chronic aches. - We will create specific fitness goals and health improvement milestones to work towards during the sessions to follow - Schedule sessions on a weekly or as-needed basis - Exceed your own expectations and break through your own barriers
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my 200 hour teacher training in Rishikesh, India - the world capital of yoga, where I spent time learning alongside master yogis in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga. Shortly after, I completed my 300 hour teacher training here in NYC at Atmananda Yoga Sequence under the instruction of master yogi Jhon T. I am also an Usui Holy Fire II Reiki Practitioner. My comprehensive training includes extensive knowledge of asanas, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, sound healing, yoga nidra, and ayurveda. With a strong background in health care, I integrate yogic principles and philosophy with evidence-based modern medicine for a well-rounded practice.
