FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take into consideration the time that it will take for me to do the work and price by that standard. If I'm shooting a wedding, I'll price a little higher because I know it will take an entire day for me to shoot plus it will take me several weeks to edit the photos. A family, senior, bridal, or engagement shoot, however, will take much less time for me to shoot and then edit, so the cost will go down. I also never shoot a wedding by myself, so part of the price that I will quote goes toward paying an assistant.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the client a little before I start asking questions about what they are needing. It helps me understand what style the potential client might want and it helps me decide if I would be able to help them or not.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no education background with photography however, I am working everyday on becoming a better photographer. I read a lot of things about photography and I do as many webinars and online classes as I can.
