Introduction: I own My Best Friend Obedience. We are super busy in the San Fernando Valley but i recently moved to Port Hueneme and have a special INTRODUCTORY pricing for students within 15 minutes of my home or near my son's school in Ventura. I work with all ages and breed of dogs and puppies. I am a certified expert on dogs and have been training since the 70's, I opened my own business in 1993. I am CPDT-KA (look up ccpdt online), and i must complete annual retraining to maintain my certification. I am also a member of the Southern California Dog Trainers forum, a charter member of APDT, and an AKC evaluator. That means you get the latest and greatest training has to offer. Since i started training i have seen many changes, the ones that work, i embrace! From Basic Obedience and manners to tricks... to potty training, biting, nipping, chewing, and socializing... to excessive fear, aggression or separation anxiety...I do it all! We love working with people, their families and their pets to help them achieve a harmonious relationship, with positive methods. We do not use choke chains, pinch collars or shock collars, just praise, toys, food, and play to teach your dog! Don't worry; we still say "no" and let them know when they are not behaving properly.
