FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Prices depend on the location of the client and the day of the week when the class takes place. For example, prices are higher when the client lives farther from my area, and lower when the class is not on a Saturday or Sunday. Also, a longer class is priced lower (per hour) and the same with more classes per week for the same person. However, I am always open to negotiation.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always try to learn what the client expects from me first. I ask questions about what the client would like the class to be like and his/her goals. I then assess the level of the customer with a few questions or conversation and based on that, I structure the class and the teaching approach.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have experience teaching adults in Spanish. I am also a volunteer tutoring children in the public schools in a variety of subjects, including Spanish reading and conversation. I have done professional translation work for several companies and non-profits. Please check my resume in Linkedin for more information.
