Introduction: I started Cambridge Tutoring hoping to provide young professionals and students in the Greater Boston area excellent 1-on-1 GMAT tutoring at rates they can actually afford. It has become commonplace to find GMAT tutors who either haven’t taken the exam recently or charge obscene hourly rates for their service (both apply in many cases). I scored a 770 on the GMAT in 2015, and since then have been sharing my study tips and strategies with students all over Boston charging an hourly rate nearly half that of my competitors. If you are looking for an experienced and proven GMAT tutor but don’t want to break the bank, Cambridge Tutoring is for you.
There are few things more rewarding to me than seeing a student go from confused to confident in just an hour. A strong GMAT score can open up a world of opportunities for any young professional, and helping my students reach and often times surpass their target scores is something I have a strong passion for.

When I originally signed up for my August GMAT test date, I was planning on self-studying as I could not afford to spend thousands of dollars on private tutoring. However, after a month of studying I hit a wall and was still 40 pts shy of my target score. This is when I begrudgingly decided to seek out help. When I saw Cambridge Tutoring's listing on thumbtack, I was extremely surprised (and a bit confused) to see 1-on-1 GMAT tutoring offered at such an affordable rate. Any skepticism I harbored initially was immediately washed away after my first free intro session with Karthic. I could tell he really knew the ins and out of this test and would be able to get me to my target score. After just 5 sessions with him, I was consistently scoring above my target score on practice exams and finally felt ready for the exam. I highly recommend Cambridge Tutoring to anyone who wants fantastic test prep at an affordable price.

I contacted Cambridge Tutoring last winter when i began studying for my GMATs. Before I started with them I really struggled with the quantitative portion of the exam. As a result, I spent the majority of my time with Karthic focusing on this half of the test. We met for 10 sessions and i could feel my confidence growing after each session. I ended bumping up my score 110 points. Karthic did a great job showing me the simplest way to solve common quant question types, which helped my score tremendously. I highly recommend him as a GMAT tutor.

I signed up with Cambridge Tutoring last winter when I was preparing for my GMATs. Working with Karthic saved me a ton of time as he was able to help me break down my studying into more organized sections. I stopped spending hours reading test prep books and instead spent a fraction of that time working through problem sets with him that addressed my individual needs as a student.
