FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is based on size and materials. My price sheet for re-plastering your pool is shown to you upfront and is based on the perimeter size and depth of your pool. Tile and Coping prices are by the linear foot and include materials. All of this is presented to you in writing when I come to measure your pool. We do not use any sales people! My wife Tracy and I are the owners and operators of this company as well as the estimators. You deal directly with us from start to finish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Listen to the customer carefully. We find out what it is you need or if you may need help understanding or troubleshooting a problem. Step 2: Find a solution and or answer that meets or exceeds the expectations of the customer at a fair price. We want to work for you. Step 3: Schedule the work and have it completed in a clean, timely manner where the customer is disturbed as little as possible. Construction done efficiently makes happy customers who will refer us to their friends and family, and we rely on that. Step 4: Watch a family enjoy their pool again, so worth it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally repaired, cleaned and serviced swimming pools all over San Diego County for over 20 years doing minor to major tile, plaster and plumbing jobs, all the while gaining first hand knowledge of how to correctly repair each and every type of pool. Prior to the C-53 Pool Builders licence I currently carry, I had a C-36 plumbing licence where I primarily worked in pool plumbing and equipment repairs and replacement. I also specialize in installing pool solar systems on the roofs of houses and still do that today even as the owner of the company.
