FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For partial wall coverage I may charge anywhere between $100 and $300 per wall depending on level of detail and size. Approximately $5 per square foot. I most commonly get asked to paint life sized/near life sized pictures of cartoon characters (i.e Batman, Spiderman, Princess Elsa etc.) and I will charge about $100 per character. For an entire room I may charge anywhere between $800 and $2000 depending on level of detail and size of the room. If the mural covers more than 1 entire wall, I will need a deposit of about $100-$500 before I begin, to purchase supplies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After going over some of the specifics through either phone or e-mail (or maybe even face to face if they aren't too far), I usually drive to my customer to measure out and further plan the installation of the mural, as well as to get acquainted with the customer. I want my customers to feel comfortable with me in their homes/businesses. Depending on the size of the mural, I may ask for deposit ahead of time and then get the rest afterward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken art classes at St. Lucie West Centennial High School and the University of Central Florida. Partially self taught before high school.
