Introduction: For the past 40+ years I have been teaching and tutoring math. My students have been from public schools, private schools and homeschools. I tutor Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry and Precaclulus. I tutor online and also face-to-face with local students.
For local students I will meet you in a public place like a coffee shop or library for a free 30-minute session...a "Meet and Greet" so we can see if we are a good match.
If you want to work online, I can make that happen also. I will give you the link to my online classroom and you will be billed for the session through that system. As with face-to-face sessions the first 30 minutes will be free to see if we are a good match.
As a bonus, for 7 days after a session, I will be available for homework help via email. No need to wait for a regularly scheduled tutoring session. If you have a homework question, you can get help before the end of the day. You email or text me your problem and I'll get back to you with help.
I love helping students be successful in their math classes.

Kathy met my daughter for SAT math tutoring and helped her tremendously with tips, content and confidence. My daughter felt very comfortable with Kathy and was happy with her patience and understanding. As a direct result of the tutoring my daughter brought her math score up 50 points!

Kathy helped my daughter prepare to take her college math placement test. She was very knowledgeable about what was on the test even recommending an app for the placement test review. The tutoring session were done online and the scheduling was very flexible making it easy for all involved. My daughter had not had a math class in many years but Kathy's patience was instrumental in helping my daughter remember concepts she had studied and gave her confidence that she would be successful. My daughter took the test and placed into the college class she needed for the degree she had chosen.

Kathy was wonderful. My son was failing Algebra II, and thoroughly confused. Kathy helped him to break down each step, and helped him to understand more fully what was going on. In the end, my son passed Algebra II for which we were very thrilled!!! Kathy's tutoring was worth every penny!!!!
