- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer free evaluations at our facility in order to determine the best fit program, duration, and price depending on the temperament of your pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our head trainer, Nate Kendall, has received several accreditations through Leerburg, a highly regarded advanced training school for experienced dog trainers. He has also attended a scent detection, scent theory, and tracking and trailing course through Linda Plummer, a highly reputable, nationally renowned SAR instructor/handler located in New Kent, VA. 10 years of experience training for show and conformation as well as protection sports (ring sports and schutzhund). He has extensive experience with all forms of aggression rehabilitation and fear based issues. Nate has competed his dogs and titled in schutzhund with a BH. Has trained diabetic alert, mobility therapy, emotional support, seizure detection, and executive protection. Nate has also performed the precertification for the Mint Hill PD as they added new K9 handlers to existing K9s, to ensure they passed their state certifications. Every employee at our facility has been trained and instructed by Nate to ensure the quality of his training is carried on and the quality of his product evident in every dog we work with, regardless of their training goals!
