Alpha-Moves Dog Training
About this pro
We've only just completed our evaluation session with Nick but feel confident in his ability to help us teach our 16 wk old stubborn English Bulldog to be a good citizen.Aug 16, 2018Verified
When I called Alpha-Moves I was extremely impressed that the President of the company, Nick, was the one to answer. Nick was very professional and was able to work around my schedule to set up a consultation. After he met Sam (my German Shepherd) he was able to customize a plan for me specifically. Sam can now work on and off the leash and is now much more controllable! Not only did he train Sam but he worked with me on how to properly use the training he instilled in her. Overal I would recommend Alpha-moves over anywhere else!Apr 21, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Alpha-Moves offers free, no obligation evaluations for potential clients. Once you have completed training, your dog has a lifetime guarantee, so you can always revisit us with no charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The typical process is first an evaluation. This gives me the opportunity to meet the client, as well as their dog. I ensure that all of the concerns are heard, and I also evaluate the relationship between the dog and their owner(s). This gives me the information needed to best tailor my training approach to that specific dog, making sure that the result is a well-trained dog with a happy client. Alpha-Moves also offers a lifetime guarantee, so if your dog begins to slip into old or bad habits, the client can get the help they need from me, free of charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received a certificate of the Master Dog Trainer's course from National K-9 Learning Center in Ohio. I highly recommend this school for anyone who would like to work in this industry. It is a tough school, with written and practical testing, but you get just as much classroom time as you do handling time. They give you full detail of the way that dogs learn, and how dogs operate. Training is not a "one size fits all", and you learn the ins and outs of the types of personalities dogs have.
