Introduction: I have been a high school math teacher and now, a college level teacher for 16 years. I specialize in helping students understand the real-life world of mathematics (those dreaded word problems!) I break down math concepts in easy to understand steps. I have a great sense of humor and use it to put students at ease. I have taught all high school math subjects from Pre-Algebra through Calculus AB. Geometry is my favorite! I also instruct the math portion of ACT and SAT Prep classes at CPCC. I can give your student even more personalized attention in one-on-one sessions. Mrs. Jones is one of the best tutor I would recommend in the Charlotte area. She shows great people skills and works hard so that you can succeed. There are not too many people out here like Mrs Jones, I can definitely say that she is one of a kind, I am sure that who ever gets to have her, they will be a lucky individual.

If a student travels to me, my rate is $50 /hr. If I travel, my rate includes travel time and cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We assess together the student's areas of strength and where the student needs reinforcement. Then we come up with a plan. I help with assignments and questions about concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree from Clemson University in mathematics and a Master's degree in Education also from Clemson.
