Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have experiences in teaching and tutoring students from kindergarten to college, from chess to calculus-based physics. I currently do programs designed for youth programs (especially SAT and ACT prep) in libraries and after-school programs. My services stand out because they target students' strengths and weaknesses uniquely and without prejudice or bias based on what works for others. I love to teach students in the ways that come most naturally to them, rather than the generic instruction common in formal education. Rather than fighting against the new age, I let them know that learning does not need to be quiet or need to happen while sitting at a desk; it can come from a television, computer, or phone.

Ryan is extremely helpful! He knows his stuff and made sure I left each lesson with a clear understanding of core math and physics concepts. He is great at explaining the material, and he took his time answering my questions. He's also very detail oriented which is a major plus! I felt very comfortable asking him anything related to the material. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been tutoring during most of my formal education. At university, I was hired by the department to tutor my fellow physics students in physics, mathematics, etc. After my time in school, I spent time doing program design for youth programs (students of various ages) in libraries.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    1. Be honest about your budget. 2. Get everyone's contact information who quoted you. That way if things don't work out because of scheduling or anything else with your first choice, you'll have someone that can help you in the future without doing the process all over again. Since we pay to quote you, many professionals may not quote you again if they recognize you, especially if you did not respond to them the first time.
