I teach everything from parent/child to adult private lessons. Water aerobics to Arthritis Foundation programs. I also train triathlon athletes to improve the efficiency of their stroke and increase speed and endurance.

Leroy has been an outstanding swim coach. After numerous marathons and century bike rides I've recently looked into triathlons. I was as novice of a swimmer as someone could be. Leroy assessed my weaknesses (which to be honest were numerous) and plans workouts to strengthen each aspect of my swim stroke.
He comes into every workout with a plan in mind and what kind of progress is to be expected. He's extremely flexible and even looks out for possible signs of stress or injury and adjusts the training plan accordingly. He's as comfortable coaching from the deck as he is from the water, oftentimes jumping into the pool in order to demonstrate drills and technique.
Leroy has also proved to be extremely flexible at accommodating my work schedule and training location. I look forward to our open water swim sessions. As a point of reference, he'll have taken someone who could barely swim 50 yards to doing laps in Lake Michigan, all within the span of one summer. I have confidence that with his training I'll be ready for a half and then full ironman.
