FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I aim to understand their vision for their project and what they hope to achieve, as well as any limitations or constraints they are working within such as deadlines or budget. From there, I develop with the client a plan of action that provides them with the most efficient use of their time and maximizes the quality of their project. Then the real fun begins, the recording!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in Sound Recording Technology at DePaul University where I also studied jazz saxophone and electronic engineering. Before that, I played in many bands and ran live sound, mixing bands and getting experience in various venues. During my undergrad, I completed the internship program at Chicago Recording Company and began working as a broadcast audio engineer for music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Coachella. After DePaul, I began working at IV Lab Studios.
