FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flowers are a tricky item to set a price on, as price per stem varies considering the type of flower and time of year, for example.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are some variables that come into play when choosing flowers. Color, texture, flower type, and certainly price are a among the most important. I prefer to sit down to find out what look and feel the client is really hoping to achieve while keeping the cost at a point the client is comfortable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program with a bachelor's degree in horticulture. Throughout college, I worked under a local florist and took design classes through Robin Wood Flowers to learn techniques and skills that have led me to venture out on my own. Since then, I've worked at International Friendship Park designing and maintaining the grounds while doing wedding flowers on the side.
