- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by asking the parent or student what goals they have, and then work with them to find a weekly lesson time that works for them. I teach primarily using the Suzuki method.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Master's degree in performance from the Cleveland Inistitute of Music. I am certified through unit 4 of the Suzuki method. I am also a program director and faculty member of a two-week, residential music camp called Coda Mountain Academy Summer Music Festival, located in Fayetteville, West Virginia. I have taught elementary and middle school orchestra/chamber music at Birchwood School of Hawken and helped begin a string program at St. Ignatius High School.
