- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My quotes are generally priced according to what it will cost for me to find child care for your lesson and the travel to/from, for my time prepping an excellent lesson tailored to you, and for my time during the lesson. I am open to negotiating price, however, especially if we can find a time when I don't need child care, or if you are willing to travel closer to my location in University Heights. Thank you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first session is always free, to give you a chance to get to know me and my style and to see whether it is a good fit for you. At that session, I usually prepare a small lesson, but most of the time is spent talking through your goals and how you think would be the best way to accomplish them. This helps me to tailor lessons to you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor in English and French from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and my Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame.
