FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25/hr, but I'm willing to work with you to find a pricing plan that meets both our needs!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
PERSONAL TRAINING: I can help you achieve your fitness goals. We'll do an initial consultation talking about where you are and what your goals are, then we'll come up with a plan from there. Usually, a weekly FaceTime to check in on nutrition and workout plans & thought processes, create next week's (nutrition and workout) plan, and a weekly workout together (and, added bonus: I'll totally send you all of my Pinterest healthy eating pins:)). I really emphasize that this is a lifelong process--with me as your trainer, you will learn to focus on your thoughts, get empowered through food & fitness education, and make small changes that really add up and last a lifetime. MATH TUTORING: I can help with ANY Calculus 1 & 2 course (MATH 151/152, AP Calculus AB/BC, etc.), Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2, Algebra 1, Geometry, Pre-Algebra, and Middle School/Elementary Math. We can meet at any on-campus or close-to-campus library/coffee shop to do an initial consultation, and then create a plan to get you on track. Usually we'll do a mini-lesson, then work though the set homework together. Please do not hesitate to contact me! Thanks, and gig 'em! :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PERSONAL TRAINING: I ran cross-country all throughout middle school and high school (5:50 mile, half marathon finisher, etc.), was a nationally ranked Fencer, have a black belt in Tang Soo Do. In middle school and early high school, my weight got seriously out of control, and I rode the roller coaster trying all sorts of diets, until my Junior year of high school, when I started working with my cross-country coach on nutrition. He taught me the philosophy of eating natural foods (not super processed), and my weight has remained healthy and I've been getting stronger ever since. I want to share everything I know about maintaining a healthy weight. MATH TUTORING: I got a 5 on my AP Calculus BC test, an A in Calculus 3 at Texas A&M, and am currently in Differential Equations. Honestly, I hit the wall in 7th grade Pre-Algebra. I remember getting back that 59 on a test and feeling so bad. So I started going in after school and working hard and getting personal tutoring, and my grades steadily started going up, and I've been improving ever since.
