- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To organize a home I charge $50/hour and it typically takes about 4-8 hours to completely organize a room (basements and garages are an exception). To organize an office, I charge $75/hour and it also takes about 4-8 hours to complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually speak with them extensively on the phone to assess their need and find out where they would like to start. This helps them to get to know me as I am getting to know them. This breaks the ice and helps them to not be intimidated with the process of me working with them to eliminate their clutter.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional organizer for 34 years (since 1982) and actually helped to found the industry as I was the third or fourth organizer in the country. I have worked in 46 states, Germany and England teaching organizational skills both in the home and in the business world.
