Introduction: At BrioLIVE Ballroom we offer dance lessons in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere... No stuffy ballroom here! We teach all dances from shag to ballroom to latin. We also offer choreography for any occasion... Weddings being our specialty. Private and group lessons available by appointment. I love teaching and meeting new people. Every student is different and presents new challenges, but watching them learn something new is what I love the most!

So far we've only taken the first lesson, so I can't give a full evaluation. But, Lynn was prompt in responding to us. We had a meeting prior to scheduling dance lessons. At that meeting, Lynn was very cordial and made us two elderly people, who don't dance, feel comfortable about taking lessons for our 50th wedding anniversary. She explained what we could expect and gave us time to think about if this was for us or not. There was no pressure! A week or so later we called her and said we would like to start dance lessons. For the first lesson she made us feel comfortable and was very encouraging. Even when we messed up , she was very patience with us. Looking forward to continuing lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we teach the elements that make up the dance, then we move to learning the basic step and build from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in 7 levels of dance by the National Dance Board.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a student for a short time at a Fred Astaire Dance Studio and was asked to start training as a teacher. I did and have been teaching ever since. That was 35 years ago!
