Reverend Brad was absolutely the best person to officiate our wedding! My husband and I have a very unique story that neither of us had really fully shared with all of our friends and family. The love story that Brad inserts into his ceremony script helped us bring our story to life as we said I do. We wanted a ceremony that was truly a celebration, we wanted it laid back and fun. Brad was able to do just that. How often to wedding guests share that the ceremony was their favorite part of your wedding?!?! Our guests are still talking about Rev Brad and how amazing he was! Brad, thank you for creating a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted, and thank you for helping us start the rest of our lives together with nothing but laughs and love!

Rev. Brad was very personable and professional, and I knew from the first meeting that he was the one to officiate our ceremony. He created the atmosphere we were hoping to achieve to perfection! Our wedding was a small gathering of 50 family members and friends, that also blended Chinese and American culture, which incorporated a translator. Brad worked great as a team with the interpreter and our scripture reader. In addition, he engaged our guests in an interactive way by weaving our story, which created an intimate relaxed environment while maintaining a formal ceremony. His humor was appreciated and appropriate, and he has a natural gift to make people feel welcome and comfortable. Wait until you see our photos with you Brad (I had a preview but they aren't finished yet). I think you will enjoy them! Thanks again for all your suggestions and recommendations we appreciated all your help in making this a perfect day!! We had so many compliments how this was a different wedding from what people have experienced and also the best! We give a huge double thumbs up for anyone contemplating Rev. Brad to officiate their ceremony.

Rev. Brad Hughes was absolutely outstanding. We were very fortunate to have him officiate our wedding ceremony. Within one zoom call Brad was able to plan and walk us through exactly how our ceremony would go. The day of our wedding he did everything perfectly. Rev. Brad is the absolute best officiant out there! We are so lucky and blessed to have found him for our wedding day. Literally everyone can't stop talking about how amazing the ceremony was. They say it was probably the best ceremony they've ever been a part of and witness. I don't think we will ever stop talking about it. It was the perfect length, had the perfect amount of humor, religion, love, and affection put into it. Brad was absolutely incredible and such a blast to work with. Everyone thought Brad has known us our whole lives with how personal the ceremony was. It honestly felt like he had known us forever when we met him for the very first time at rehearsal. With the pandemic, we have only zoom called but felt so natural meeting in person. Also with the pandemic, Brad was always so professional and accommodating with postponing our wedding. He had some great tips and advice to organize all our vendors and pick a new date that worked with everyone. Unfortunately, Brad had some serious personal event come up very close to our wedding day, but still showed up to our wedding. We are in awe how well he did with everything and shows how dedicated he is to all his couples. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him. We super appreciate Brad and everything he did to make our wedding a day to remember. He did an amazing job and was so fun to work with. Thank you Brad, everyone NEEDS him as your officiant, you won't regret it! Best decision ever!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every wedding is unique. Many factors are considered when pricing a wedding ceremony that can best be evaluated during a free one-hour consultation. I offer 3 levels of service and flexible options that go with them. I have yet to meet with a couple who didn't see the unique value of what I offer to customize an unforgettable wedding that perfectly suits the couple's style, personality, and vision.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with every couple for a helpful and informative Zoom consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 13 years of experience as a non-denominational pastor and wedding officiant. I hold a Masters of Educational Ministries degree from Wheaton College '97 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance from Northern Illinois University '90. After NIU, I married my high school sweetheart on a heatwave summer day on July 20, 1992. We have 3 amazing kids, 1 snarky cat, and 1 happy golden retriever.
