Introduction: I use specific techniques that get to the root of the injury and help my clients on their path to a full recovery. I Release physical and emotional trauma. I deliver massage services that allow my clients the space and support to heal and move through physical and emotional trauma. I love working with clients who are experiencing pain from a car accident or athletic injury. I have been a licensed massage therapist for the past 7 years and have several years of experience performing deep tissue, neuromuscular massage and trigger point therapy. I am also very skilled at working with pregnancy clients. In addition to trigger point therapy, I blend acupressure into every massage. I am also a Certified Medical Herbalist. I use Chinese and Western herbal medicine along with nutritional therapies to heal your body naturally. I will initially meet with you for two hours. In this initial visit I will evaluate your pulses and tongue and give you a Chinese medical diagnosis. From this information I will create an individualized herbal formula for you. I am also a health coach. I will work with you to build an individualized plan to optimize your wellness from the inside out. Jolie has been my massage therapist for the past 3 years and I've never met a more knowledgeable person that can assess your pain and tell you exactly what problems she has identified and proceed to work on the critical areas then give you advice as to herbal remedies that would be helpful to heal aches, pains, sleeplessness or colds. I would recommend Jolie to anyone that wants to maintain a healthy body or to heal any painful joints or muscles.

Jolie is the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I have been seeing her be-weekly for over a year due to a shoulder/upper arm injury. She quickly and accurately assesses what areas need attention and knows exactly where to concentrate her time. I always leave feeling so much better than when I walked in. Recently I arranged for a massage with Jolie for a friend visiting from out of state. When I asked how it was, my friend said Jolie was very, very good, and that it was the best massage my friend had ever had. I have some severe neck and back injuries from a car accident in 2002. I rarely find a practitioner that is helpful. I had a shiatsu session with Jolie and was amazed to see positive results. My concern with a new practitioner is that they will make my pain and mobility worse, this was not the case. The results were so dramatic that my physical therapist asked what I had done to gain the improvement. I am very pleased with her knowledge, multiple approaches she offers and ability to decipher the underlying cause of symptoms. In addition I have talked with her extensively about herbal remedies.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically ask my client to book a 60 minute or 90 minute massage. 30 minutes is not enough time. For massage I ask clients to fill out a health form. They can find this form on my website. I typically ask workers compensation clients to get a signature from a medical doctor for massage before proceeding. My initial herbal intake is 2 hours long. After this visit clients can see me for herbal remedies and massage in the same visit. I typically combine herbal remedies and massage. Return visits will first have their herbal visit and then they will receive massage treatment. Health coaching starts with an initial 50 minute consult. This consult will determine what you wish to address and how I can best work with you. When we begin working together you will fill out a health history form and sign a contract. We will then schedule your next 6 visits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, certified Chinese and Western Medical Herbalist and a certified Health Coach. I am also a licensed teacher. I hold a Master's degree in Teaching.
