Great school! Had been learning guitar on my own for a while and got stuck in a rut so I decided to try out lessons. Russ has been a great teacher and I've learned a ton of new techniques that I never would have tried on my own. Very laid back and flexible. Would recommend to anyone.

My son, now 12 has been taking lessons here for three years now. Piano lessons were good. Guitar lessons with Mike are great. He really connects with my son.

My 9 and 11 year old boys have been taking weekly guitar lessons for a little more than a year and they love working with Mike. They come away from each lesson excited about what they've learned and wanting to share it with me as soon as we get home. I highly recommend Sollohub.

Simply the best. My children take lessons at Music and Arts, which is wonderful, but I was looking for more advanced instruction for myself on guitar. Jeff Sollohub hooked me up with his instructor, Ian, and it has been an amazing four months up to now. I was self taught since 1984 and my playing has improved more since starting at Sollohub than it did in the three or five years leading up to starting lessons. Jeff is great to work with, the rates are competitive with everywhere else, but the personal attention of the teachers I've interacted with is beyond compare.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Come in for a free trial lesson to see if you like it ( never any pressure to sign up or sales pitch). After you've had the lesson and time to think about it, if you want to continue just contact us and we will keep things going.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers have music degrees, most more than one, as well as years of experience both as teachers and performers(average 10 yrs teaching, more as performers). Just as importantly, they have the right personality: personable, patient, passionate.
