Tom was hired to assist with a scenic automation project for Wayne State University Department of Theatre's production of "A Christmas Carol" this past December. The project entailed the construction of a self contained stage lift, designed to elevate a person from the first floor of a set to the second floor. Tom was specifically tasked with taking the design specifications and operating parameters and from such, executing the programming required for the control system, as well as assisting with the electrical system design. He excelled at both tasks, offering suggestions for streamlining the process in both the programming and electrical system, thus completing the job well within the time and budgetary parameters. His understanding of the creative process helped to ensure that the automation didn't simply function but that it functioned as intended artistically: I cannot stress how important accomplishing that goal is! Tom would, without question, be my first choice if ever the need for his expertise presented itself again in the future.

Media Storyteller shot footage at the 2015 Heartbeat of Plymouth Festival in Plymouth, MI. The footage was for our "See You Next Year!" promo video for the 2016 festival. The video they put together for us was awesome. It truly captured the essence and the fun of the festival. It turned out to be great advertisement for the following year. Media Storyteller was easy to work with and they delivered the video on time as promised. Heartbeat of Plymouth would use Media Storyteller again and we highly recommend them.

Tom created a video for Cool Religious Jewelry that was used for promotional content on my website. The video included behind the scenes video clips of my jewelry photo shoot. Tom was responsible for the entire project including the overall concept of the shoot, lighting, video editing, sound, model selection, hair, makeup and wardrobe. It turned out fantastic! I love the video and photographs and plan to hire him again for my next project.

Tom is an incredible photographer! He is very easy to work with, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable about how to capture a great portrait. Tom helped me feel comfortable during the photo shoot and gave a lot of helpful direction. A few of the simple techniques he shared helped me get photographs that felt natural and brought out my best smile. I was really impressed by his expertise and glad that I hired him. He got the photos back to me very quickly, too. I will definitely hire Tom again in the future and would highly recommend him as a photographer and artist!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Writing books and music have been a lifelong passion. As a child, I borrowed my father's camera and film equipment to create short films based on the books and music I'd written. Today, our team creates moves, life production, and photography that tells story's from a unique perspective, one that you'll remember for years with a smile.
