For surveillance, we charge $70.00 per hour plus reimbursable for fuel cost. We have the latest surveillance equipment available for rent to assist in the investigation without being seen as in a mobile covert surveillance platform that can be used if located in close quarters or rural setting. Our fees for locates depends on how much information you have such as, correct spelling of the name, previous address, social security number and date of birth. If you don't have this information, we can get it, but cost more. The locate range is as low as $150.00 thru $500.00. Most locates costs $250.00. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free consultation to determine the nature of the case and what is requested. We obtain an intake of all pertinent information and provide a contract which states our rates, expenses and guidelines. We inform our clients that we videotape our evidence which shows date and time to maintain accurate accounting for billing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At the age of 19, I rode with a seasoned investigator for two years and learned how to maintain surveillance tactics without being detected. In 1975, I was hired and trained further by ex-Federal and Law Enforcement personnel within an investigative firm. From that extensive training, I wrote a Training Manual which the previous companies I had worked for began to use. In Georgia, before training was implemented by the State, I obtained a company license in 1985 and trained my In-House Investigators. Since then, the State of Georgia began formal education into the Investigative field. I submitted my application to the State to be a Certified Instructor and was accepted. Now I am a frequent speaker at Gwinnett Technical College for the Private Detective Course as well as speaking at various conferences throughout the State. We have also been invited by the Gwinnett County Public School system to attend their Science Fairs and Career Connections to share the field of Private Investigation and the proper use of Spy Gear.
