Introduction: The founder and director of the academy is Dr. Meredith Blecha-Wells, Associate Professor of Cello at Oklahoma State University. She holds multiple degrees in cello performance, including a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Eastman School of Music. She applies the Suzuki method of teaching to children as young as three years old, and many of her students have gone on to win national competitions.
You will not find a finer cello instructor in the region.

I've worked with Dr. Blecha-Wells for four years now, and she has made me a far better celllist than I ever imagined I could be. She is a phenomenal teacher! Ms. Kerns is also a very strong instructor and fun to work with. I highly recommend Oklahoma Cello Academy to learners of all ages.
