Kevin Keith - Piano/Percussion Lessons
About this pro
We received percussion lessons from Kevin Keith. He not only is an excellent musician, but he is a wonderful teacher. He is very knowledgeable in many genres of music, from solo literature, to band/orchestral music, to jazz. Of which, he shares his knowledge and experiences with his students freely. He is very hardworking and enthusiastic to ensure that his students get a quality education. He is great in communication, both with the student , in ensuring understanding of lesson materials, and with the parents on updates on how the lessons are progressing. He has a very patient and friendly disposition, that would allow anyone to feel comfortable in working with him. He has been a wonderful teacher and mentor for the past 2.5 years.Oct 4, 2016
Kevin has a very broad depth of knowledge in many genres of music. His high level of expertise leads to a highly specialized lesson structure. Mr. Keith's prior music experiences in vocal, wind band, orchestral and piano/organ performance have left him with a breadth of specialized skills that he passes along to those whom he teaches. I wholeheartedly recommend Kevin Keith!Sep 2, 2016
Kevin was a great private lesson teacher for my 8th grade percussionist! He was very flexible and accommodating with scheduling, and the wise instruction he provided allowed my son to get the highest rating possible at Solo and Ensemble, win a distinguished scholarship award at the end of the school year from his band, and earn a coveted position in the high school drumline as only a freshman. Kevin provided insightful coaching which expanded my son's repertoire of instruments and technique.Sep 1, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$25 per half hour lesson. $30 per hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I give the student the option to have a trial lesson at first, to make sure that we are a fit for each other and that our time together would be productive. If this first lesson goes well, the teacher and student (or student's parents) will work to generate a regularly scheduled block of an hour or a half hour each week for the student and teacher to meet.
