Introduction: I am originally from Germany and have lived in the USA for almost 15 years. I have performed in clubs from Berlin to Los Angeles. I double majored in vocal jazz performance and classical violin performance at MSU Denver and graduated summa cum laude. I have performed with my violin in Bluegrass ensembles (at TedEx), jazz combos, classical chamber ensembles, and orchestras. I also performed as a soloist at weddings, receptions, business events, and the commencements of the Community College of Denver and MSU Denver at the Denver Coliseum, to name a few. As a singer, I have performed on KUVO radio and at the MSU Denver jazz festival with the MSU Denver Big Band. I was also a classical voice performance major for 2 years, and sang the role of Carmen in a university production of opera scenes. Nobody is ever too old or too young to discover their love of music and work on becoming a better musician! Coming from Europe without knowing anybody here, I discovered that music is the one, true universal language that builds bridges and connects us. What I enjoy about teaching is that everybody has a truly unique voice and musical way of expressing him- or herself. I help my students find their own voice, their own sound, and embrace it, while using the appropriate technique.
