Andrew is an excellent, professional percussionist, so when I was preparing for an audition, I sought out his feedback. I was lucky enough to get in several hours of lesson time with him to help solidify my repertoire. Andrew's willingness to take extra time to be thorough was greatly appreciated. By the time we finished, I knew I was as prepared as I could have been for that audition. Additionally, his knowledge of not only percussion repertoire, but also percussion instruments and their maintenance provided me with tools I use regularly.

Andrew tried many different methods to help me with my mallet, timpani, and snare playing. When I wasn't getting a concept he would try a new approach. He never got a frustrated and joked to lighten the mood at times. He was an excellent instructor.

Private lessons are $60/hr.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with everybody at their own pace and work to help them develop into the type of drummer/percussionist that they want to be. If you want to get into the high school band program, audition for Allstate, prepare for solo and ensemble competition, get into a university of conservatory of music program, or prepare for a professional audition I will help you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters of Music, New England Conservatory of Music Bachelors of Music, McGill University 35 years professional percussionist, timpanist, drum set player.
